TERMS OF SERVICE

A practical agreement for using Tidy 20.

These Terms govern the Tidy 20 website, native apps, beta program, household accounts, photo tools, and AI features operated by Krausenhouse LLC.

Effective August 22, 2026 · Version 2026-08-22

1. Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account, redeeming beta access, purchasing a subscription, or using Tidy 20, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. If you use Tidy 20 for a household, you are responsible for having permission to submit information and images from that household.

2. What Tidy 20 provides

Tidy 20 helps people define bounded household resets, record task timing, compare room photos, generate realistic stopping-point images, and discuss workflow friction. Free features and paid allowances are described at checkout and may evolve as the product improves.

Tidy 20 is a planning and productivity tool. It is not medical, mental-health, accessibility, safety, legal, or professional organizing advice. Do not use it as the sole basis for decisions involving hazardous materials, structural problems, infestations, fire or electrical risks, medications, identity documents, or urgent health and safety concerns.

3. Accounts and households

Keep your credentials confidential and provide accurate account information. Household owners control membership and billing for their household. Members should only upload or enter content they are authorized to share. Tell us promptly at friends@tidy20.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Photos, content, and AI output

You retain ownership of room photos, room descriptions, tasks, feedback, and other content you submit. You grant Krausenhouse LLC a limited license to host, process, transmit, and transform that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve Tidy 20. We do not acquire ownership of your home content.

Photo and AI features are optional and only run when an eligible user starts them. AI findings and generated images may be incomplete, inaccurate, or visually inconsistent. Review them before acting, and never treat a generated image as a requirement or a promise of a particular result.

5. Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation

Tidy 20 Household is offered monthly and annually at the price shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Web subscriptions are managed through the Stripe customer portal. Native subscriptions, once offered, are managed through Apple or Google. Cancellation stops future renewal; access continues or ends on the date shown by the applicable billing provider.

Taxes may apply. Plan allowances reset according to the billing period described in the product. Unused allowances do not roll over and have no cash value. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy for refund-request windows and store-specific rules.

6. Beta access

Beta access may provide paid-scope features without charge for a limited test period. It is pre-release, may change or end, may contain defects, and remains subject to safety and cost allowances. Beta access is personal unless an invitation says otherwise, cannot be sold, and does not guarantee a future free or paid entitlement. You may submit feedback voluntarily; we may use that feedback without restriction or compensation, but we will not publish your identity or private household content without permission.

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, probe or bypass access limits, share invitation codes beyond their intended audience, upload content you do not have a right to use, interfere with other accounts, automate excessive requests, reverse engineer protected service components, or use Tidy 20 to create unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or harmful material. We may limit or suspend access to protect users, the service, or our providers.

8. Product ownership

Krausenhouse LLC and its licensors own Tidy 20’s software, branding, interface, example content, and documentation, excluding your submitted content. These Terms grant a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service.

9. Availability and disclaimers

We work to keep Tidy 20 available, secure, and useful, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, perfect AI output, a particular household result, or permanent availability of beta features.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Krausenhouse LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, or loss of profits arising from Tidy 20. Our aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Tidy 20 during the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so they may not apply to you.

11. Ending service and account deletion

You may stop using Tidy 20, cancel renewal, or delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, security threats, nonpayment, or discontinuation, with notice when reasonably possible. Account deletion is described on the support and deletion page.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the product, law, or providers change. Material changes will be presented in the service or sent to the account email when appropriate. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Contact friends@tidy20.com with questions.
